I understand that being on social media when you work in mental health and wellbeing can bring a real sense of disconnect or conflict…

We recognise that we want to be in these spaces because of their considerable reach and capacity to inform and inspire.

But we want to find a way to do this that doesn’t make us feel like we’re just adding to the problem.

I agree.

I have run the social media for several clients in the mental health and wellbeing sectors for several years, most notably for The Practice Rooms - a national organisation with beautiful therapy rooms for rent across the UK.

In my work with them I have been responsible for developing a Social Media Code of Conduct, which we constantly review and update, and creating a social media presence that purposefully works to change the narrative and share our work with integrity and humility.

I have been integral in resdesigning our social media look and feel, sourcing and selecting images and graphics with diversity, inclusion and equality at their heart, and ensuring that what we share in these spaces aims to inform and inspire. Not to sell or persuade.

Alongside this, I have worked with therapists, nurtitionists, life coaches, counsellors, acupuncturists and doulas to develop, design, set-up and manage their social media accounts. In the past I have also done this for fashion designers, podcast hosts, sales consultants, landscape gardeners and managing directors. You can see some of my work below.
